One of my friends is working on a web page where he wants to list websites that allow you to share or download music. I'm wondering what websites you have to pay for to share/download music and which ones are free.
For the freebie website I can only think of one: You Send It.
And the paid is ITunes. I've tried to explain to him that music isn't free for download anymore. The vast majority of websites today ask for a fee to share music. And I also told him about the risk of sharing music over the web as it's copyrighted material.
So if anyone knows of any websites to share music for free or for a small fee please say so here.
